Fabric Contractor: Rainier Industries
The structure employs retractable fabric panels on a rotating, track supported framework to provide a 130 ft. tall operable windscreen. We conceived, analyzed, and directed testing on the blowout system designed to relieve high wind loads. The design is the subject of a paper presented at the 2018 conference of the International Association for Shell & Spatial Structures.
